Angels & Demons

Good morning, Sweetheart

I have been thinking about writing this post for a while, but today I decided to stop thinking about it and actually write it. This post might take some time to write, but I feel that in the end it will have been worth the time, and energy as well. It doesn’t take long for me to write these posts, usually just a few hours.

Angels and demons, they seem to go hand in hand with each other. Both come from religious ideologies, but they are mostly synonymous with Christianity. Angels are depicted like this ;

and demons are depicted like this ;

One of my concerns was, is, that some people may think that I have a demon inside of me, to be quite honest, Kiddo, I did consider the possibility of that a few times in the beginning, when I was someone else. But it didn’t make any sense, for I know that my mother was not a demon, or is a demon. First of all, demons only apply to the religious, ever notice how only religious people become “possessed”? Why is that?

“Demonic possession” is nothing more than “religion sickness”. It tends to occur in children and the weak minded. When someone is believed to be “possessed”, that someone’s mind is fighting it’s conscience. The conscience knows better, to put it simply, but the mind doesn’t know better, and so a conflict breaks out.

There are no such things as demons.

Up until a few hundred years ago, there was a medical procedure known as “trepanation”. Trepanation is the practice of boring a hole into someone’s skull to release a “demon”, and this was performed without any anesthesia. Ouch.

People weren’t very smart back in the day, to them, when they saw somebody suffering from religion sickness they believed that the person in question had a demon inside of their head, and what better way to get the demon out than to cut a hole in their head?

Why does that woman have a book on top of her head? There is a table right in front of her that could hold the book instead. As I had said, Kiddo, people were not very smart back then. Unfortunately, however, ignorance breeds ignorance . . .

Enough of that silliness, let’s move on to angels.

By definition, an angel is “a spiritual being believed to act as an attendant, agent, or messenger of God, conventionally represented in human form with wings and a long robe.”

Sounds about right. Do these angels exist? No. For a person to have wings, natural wings, that can enable them to fly, they would have a wingspan of roughly 60 feet. Their chest would be the size of a refrigerator, just to accommodate the amount of pectoral muscle needed to “flap” their wings.

However, we still have ignorance . . .

Here is a better one, so to speak . . .

I briefly read a scientific survey that told “1 out of 4 Americans believe that the Sun revolves around the Earth.”

That is scary. We have people believing in actual angels, demons, “flat-Earth”, and that the Sun revolves around the Earth. This is the 21st century, and this is what we have to deal with; ignorance.

I thought those two quotes were rather interesting.

Well Kiddo, it is getting late here and I need some rest. I have been having the most phenomenal dreams lately, very detailed and very symbolic, I can only imagine what I will dream of next.

The Fourth of July is next weekend, any plans?

We are going to stay home, but if you decide to go out be careful, it is an “amateur night weekend”, and we don’t want anything bad to happen to our little angel.

🙂 ❤ 😉

Enjoy your day, Kiddo, and be safe.

Love, Daddio
